Today’s chain

Fill the gaps to make a chain of familiar phrases. Start at either end.

One chain. Take your time.
How to play

The first and last words are given. Select a missing word beside a known word, then type your guess. Build down from the top or up from the bottom.

For example, COFFEE → TABLE → TENNIS makes “coffee table” and “table tennis.” The first letter and word length help you find each link.

A wrong guess leaves the chain intact. Reveal a letter whenever you need help; hints and guesses are counted separately. Each space has one intended answer.

Everyone gets the same chain each day, changing at midnight Eastern. Phrases have a 90-day rest before they can appear again.
